Filing of Form 24A - Section 224(3).

Whether we need to file Form 23 prior to filing Form 24A on the matter.

Please respond urgently, if possible.

Thanks a lot in advance.

Query : In general, is there any requirement of filing Form 23 for Form 24A. Please clarify and confirm.

There is no connection between form 23 and form 24A read with section 224(3).

There is no need to file e-form 23 in the matter of 224(3) read with e-form 24A. Why because,in addition to the absence of such a provision in the section, proceedings of AGM is to be attached with e-form 24A which itself leads to the need of filing e-from 24A. However, the clarification might have sought for because of a clause in e-form 24A asking for SRN of e-form 23 which is not meant for 224(3) but for other sections,referred in the top right hand corner,for which an application is to be filed.
