30 January 2011 If One person was employed in Pune for 9 months and for the rest of the year was employed in Raipur and permanent residential address is of Kolkata, then where that person has to file the Return. Is it possible to file ITR-2 Online for First year?

30 January 2011 Yes ITR-2 can be filed on-line from any where in India.

You have to mention Kolkata Address in ITR-2, so that the person remains well informed about the departmental correspondence in connection with his proceedings or other matters.

After he takes permanent posting, he may get changed his address in PAN Data. I assume that he is having PAN Card and address of Kolkata is in the PAN data.

30 January 2011 I agree with Bafna Ji but in case of salaries person, his jurisdiction will go according to his residential adress.

31 January 2011 experts r right,
dear banhi,
you just have to relexed...... you need to write down your permenant resident address in ITR for communication while efiling(you can also give your office address where you ended your financial year but its changed all the time, but your permenant resident not)
second, you have to do just write your employer name on which year ended. if both have deducted TDS or other...you can also show both deduction in ITR.
ITR has all the things in which you can input your consolidated data without hesitation.
