06 May 2008 Whether the FBT is to be charged on the amount paid to driver for overtime? The
Driver is appointed on contractor basis.
so the drivers salary is directly paid on lumpsum basis to the contractor. Company only pays overtime to driver. His salary is paid to his contractor.

06 May 2008 No matter what is the system of payment, If the driver is appointed for a car then all payments to that driver is under purview of FBT.
