Failure of articleship registration & final registration

I have cleared both groups of IPCC and have sent the required forms for articleship registration. But i got a letter today from ICAI that the registration is pending as i need to pay further Rs 10000 to register myself to the final course. I am not familiar with this rule, and i have heard that if i register now i will get books which will be outdated when i write my finals. therefore i was planning to rgister next year. i have already paid rs 2000 for joining articleship. please guide me , and provide me the details.

registration fees for final ca is 10,000 and 2000 is for articlehsip registration.
