CAN WE STUFFED A CONTAINOR IN OUR FACTORY PREMISES OR SUPPLIER PREMISES ON CT-1 (FOR TRADING GOODS)

06 August 2012 Dear Mr.Ram,

You can stuff the container either in your premises or supplier premises with proper factory stuffing permission from the clearance port and under intimation to Excise.

Best option, follow Self Removal Procedure (SRP) & submit ARE-1 copies & Invoice to Excise within 24 hrs.

in this case you would have to file the Security Bond.

07 August 2012 I have already submit a bond for ct-1. what is the procedure of security bond.

08 August 2012 after submitting the Bond the concerned officer accept the bond you can liable the export.

08 August 2012 You mean to say this bond is for factory stuffing and for issuance of ct-1 bond is seprate. Pl advice.

09 August 2012 Dear Mr. Ram,

Factory Stuffing permission is issued by the concern port Authority & not by Excise.

The Bond is required to execute for issuing CT-1 for Duty Free Despatches.
