23 January 2012 A firm can do trading in Future and option. A firm is recognized as a separate legal person. Hence there are no restriction in my view for a firm to trade in F&O.

Further there are no restriction placed by Income tax on a firm on trading in F&O. Lastly firm is not governed by company law.
