I WNT TO EXPORT DATA FROM TALLY 9 TO EXCEL.

I DONOT KNOW WHAT TO SELECT AFTER PRESSING ALT+E

LANGUAGE : DEFAULT (ALL LANG.)/RESTORE (ASCII ONLY)
FORMAT : HTML OR WHAT
RESOLUTION : 1024*768 RECOMMENDED
OTHERS
OUTPUT FILE NAME : XML/XLS ETC.
SCALE FACTOR ETC

I HAVE TRIED BUT THE FILE DOES NOT OPEN IN EXCEL

PLEASE ANY ONE HELP ME

05 April 2009 Hello abhishek, if you are trying it first time then please export the tally file in HTML and the file will save in the folder of tally.
Then go to file saved, right click on it and select open with excel. Done.
Now after opening file make your changes as u want and save file in .xls format as u want.
