15 December 2010 We have executed UT 1 bond. We want to export the material through self removal. Can any one explain us how do export without payment of duty?

Is it necessary if we clear material by self removal then duty is payable.

In case we removed the material after payment of E.duty ( Without UT1)then how can we claim the excise duty from dept ? what is duration for filing of claim?

16 December 2010 Hi Mr. Sachin,
I would like to inform you that you can do export with self removal. For that the below are the procedure:
1. Your have to make a LUT (Letter of Under Taking) from Asst. Commissioner
2. Now there is no need of UT-1
3. For self removal your have to submit a letter to your Range
4. Export means duty free, Never pay the duty for export and also don't do mistake to claim of duty
5. Of course it is possible, but take a longer time
