Can Anyone tell me about Duty Entitlement Pass Book(DEBP). Hwo it is Beneficial to companies?

DEPB is an entitlement given to the exporters for importing duty free goods, in proportion to their export earnings. This license itself can be sold by the exporter if they so wish.
