a client is engaged in stevedoring and handling services. insurance on vehicles used for office use(transport of staff) is classified as indirect expense. however, is it correct to treat insurance on equipments used for operations as DIRECT expense?

yes. it is not directly related to the operation of business, hence Indirect expenses only
