new trend of purchasing iconic series phone no...( 942800000,9428155555 etc....) has begun ....
& noe i think it's legal also ... as bsnl always sending maseege for such no.s online selling , & people r taking it worth in thousnds ( also for vehicle series no. )
suppose such expenditure is 50000
my question is that wether such exp. is allowed ????
for 1 ) prop.
2) company
purpose of such exp. is solely of human tendency to take similar no. as of preceeding or to satisfy himself ..... it can be say like ..james bond on seeing 007

easy or cathcy number some time can help in business and advertisement, this is a very subjective issue and whether it is allowed or not depends on circumstances.
In my view AO is the right person who shall decide it is allowed or not on the basis of prevailing situation

There is also case law for the same in which such instance in case of a car was disallowed.
