09 February 2011 Dear Sir,

I am a PCC Student.I appeared in May 2010 exam and Scored Exemption in Taxation paper, though i failed in rest of he subjects.
I again appeared in Nov 2010 Exam, Claimed Exemption in taxation and failed in other 2 papers of II Group.

CAN I AGAIN CLAIM EXEMPTION IN TAXATION, WHICH I HAD SECURED IN MAY 2010 EXAM,WHILE APPEARING FOR MAY 2011 EXAM?

Please Some Body Help,,,, as the Last date for submission of Exam form is around the corner.

Exemption in any paper is allowed only for two attempts. So, you can claim exemption only for MAY 2011 attempt . You can confirm the same from your exam Form , the format of exam form gives you the info. relating to the exemption .

Exemption in CA course can be carried forward for next three appempts(not two attempts). so you can claim of exemption in taxation till nov,2011 attempt.
you will pass in may,2011 attempt. my best wishes for you.
