exemption from practical training

20 May 2011 I am pursuing CA and have completed 3.5yrs as an article assistant.
I want to register for CS also.
Can i get exemption from practical training in CS on the basis of 3.5yrs article assistant in a CA firm?
please advice

20 May 2011 No you can not get exemption from 15 Months CS training on the basis of your Articleship training.

20 May 2011 it is compulsory training ...no exemption on any basis just like CA articleship...as such there is no MOU between ICAI & ICSI...so, stop thinking about that aspect...

20 May 2011 If you want exemption you must show some experience and also with the balance sheet of the organization you have experience of working, filled the exemption form and send it to training department and if the council consider it is ok than it will be granted to you.
Article ship done for CA is not related with CS.
