A friend of mine met an accident and couldn't attend the exam (final-costing) today.
If he sits for other 3 exams and get exemption in them, will it hold valid for the next exam term? Won't there be any problem due to non-profitattendance??

for availing the exemption in any of the subjects ..one has to be present in all the papers. Hence, even if your friend get exemption in any of the paper he will not be eligible to avail that.

No he can not avail exemption in any paper due to non appearing in Cost paper,

While are wishes are with your friend, ICAI guidelines are not going to favor him. He shall have to appear for all the papers in next attempt.
