Exemption eligibility

13 November 2013 A friend of mine met an accident and couldn't attend the exam (final-costing) today. If he sits for other 3 exams and get exemption in them, will it hold valid for the next exam term? Won't there be any problem due to non-profitattendance?? Thanks in advance..

13 November 2013 for availing the exemption in any of the subjects ..one has to be present in all the papers. Hence, even if your friend get exemption in any of the paper he will not be eligible to avail that.

13 November 2013 No he can not avail exemption in any paper due to non appearing in Cost paper,
He has to appear all papers of the grp to avail exemption in any paper...

13 November 2013 Dear Tushar,

While are wishes are with your friend, ICAI guidelines are not going to favor him. He shall have to appear for all the papers in next attempt.
