Now service tax is payable on accrual basis.
So is that the credit of input service tax is also now available on accrual basis or it is still available on payment basis? .

But is it not that ideally credit should also should be allowed on accrual basis.

It should have been allowed, but as on date there is no change in the Rules for input tax credit so till that time CENVAT Credit of input services should be availed on payment basis itself.
