30 June 2014 i have form 16 in that total salary was 204610(inclusive hra 26536) and RS/ 461 is tax amount.

i m paying rent 3200 rS for every month.

cam i claim exemption for rent paid (3000*12=36000)

30 June 2014 if in your form 16 salary HRA deduction is not given then you can calim when you file the return.
exemption as follows:

excess rent paid from 10% of salary
40%/50% of salary
HRA received

whichever is less will exempt from HRA amount.
