21 December 2009 What is the difference between an executive or non-executive director??????

Please explain in detail as I am in confusion????????

21 December 2009 As per legal interpretation Executive director means:

1. A director who is drawing salary from the company or

2. Who is holding the designation of Managing Director ot Whole Time Director.

Other directors are considered as non-executive directors.
