Please tell me the Excise Payable A/c it should be nil (IN SAP) after debiting the entry for each month it is correct or not

13 January 2010 Yes it should be NIL if it is passed on 30th or 31st i.e. on last day in that month, but general practice is passing of debit entry on 5th on the following month except march 31st so from report generation it will be showing different results.
Keeping track of results in separate excell sheet will reflect correct decision
