i am working a manufacturing company. our company cross 1.5 crores sales turnover.
pls advices me our company are covered under excise duty or not

16 March 2011 If you are manufacturing goods on which excise duty is payable as per the Central Excise Tariff, your company is laible to pay duty on the goods cleared beyond Rs.1.5 Crores as per the SSI Exemption.
