Dear experts
Could you please clarify whether the goods which are included in the tariff at NIL rate of duty are excisables goods or not.

According to section 2(d) of Central excice act every Goods which satisfy the following Condition wiil be a Exciable Goods whether chargeable to duty or not: -
01. Must be Manufacture or Produced in India
02. Mentioned In Central Excise Tariff Act
03. Movable
04. Marketable
If all the aforesiad conditions are satisfied it shall be a Exicable Goods.
