31 March 2013 my father deducted various party TDS and same deposited.. but by mistake deposited excess of required
Now what can i do for getting back the same..?

31 March 2013 You can simply submit form 16A to the vendor or contractor showing the excess tds amount deducted and deposited and claim refund..

31 March 2013 Excess TDS paid can be adjusted against return of Next Quarter. Enter Same challan details and enter deductee entry only against excess amount deposited.

01 April 2013 That tds will be of last quartet of Assessment year 2012-13. But can i do that my brother who have pan number against them i file dummy entry in tds revise statement & give credit to the same excess tds and after ward filling income tax return & take it back as refund.

01 April 2013 Yes you can do so but your brother will also have to show the income in his return while claiming the refund of TDS.
