Excess tds deposited

11 April 2017 If a company for eg has deducted 18000 tds from its employees but wrongly deposited Rs.20000 as TDS to the I.Tax.
Whether it can be adjusted in the next months/financial year? If not,then what can be done now?

11 April 2017 Yes, it can be adjusted Next month / Next financial year to that extent tds amount should be unutlised and same can be adjusted.
