Excess tax paid

please be noted that for year 2011-12 tds payable shown in balance sheet is rs 800.54
but tds paid in april 2012 is rs 1944.14 ie excess of rs 1143.60
now my question is in 2012-13 with what entry should i rectify it
is it an income for 2012-13?
please give full accounting entry

Rs 1143.60 is excess paid , so it can not be income.

Transfer the extra amount paid to the deductees' a/c as they will get credit for the same.
