Excess service tax paid can be adjusted but how much monthly/quarterly according to assessee wise.

There is no such limit, you can adjust it to your actual liability andn set off if any credit remains at end of year with other dues.

It is upto 1 lac for the relevant month or quarter as the case may be ( Rule 4B)
