Error in efilling income tax returns

01 April 2012 This year i have opted for efilling but during registration i encountered error tha my first name and last name don not match with records. Although i entered the name as per application form but still it did not accept. Is there any way through which i can check the name entered in PAN

01 April 2012 Advisable to get a copy of pan card and register the same as mentioned in pan card.

In case not possible then, use option know my pan at efiling website, try various alternatives and possible combination of first and last name and find out.
No other way to get the data.

21 April 2014 you can check your PAN under
KNOW YOUR PAN

AND CONFIRM WHAT NAME SPELLING AND DOB , FATHER NAME.
