28 January 2012 Dear All,

Kindly help to resolve the issue of din application. At the time of Din application I am getting an error in verification of Pan Data as "Applicant Name does not match with the PAN Database. Kindly provide the same as Income Tax PAN Database". The Data entered in Din Application is exact as per Pan Card.

28 January 2012 May be at the time of entering name of applicant, unknowingly one space has been left after entering the same. Pls check the same and remove that space from name and see the result.

28 January 2012 Please create a dummy e-payment challan with the PAN in www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in.
DIN applicant's name as per PAN data base can be known from the above exercise.
Then fill up DIN form as per the name obtained as above.
