29 August 2007 Company is importing capital goods for construction of the Office Building which will be leased to STPs. Since leasing is considered as service, company intending to apply for EPCG licence under Foreign Trade Policy for importing of Capital Goods.
1. Can company apply for EPCG licence to DGFT?
2. In case the building consisting of several floors, is it required to lease whole building to STPs?
3. Is there any decision by the tribunal/court on the above subject?
