Dear All,
I need the list of states in which entry tax/orctoi is levied. What is the basis of levying entry tax? Kindly share your knowledge.

Hi,
each state has its own Entry Tax like Haryana has: Haryana Tax on Entry of Goods into Local Areas Act, 2008.
Further the tax is levied on the entry of goods (exceptions provided in each act) for the purposes of sale or consumption from a place outside that local area. Tax rates are quantified by the State government. You may specify the state in which you wish to enquire.
