Entry tax applicable on stock transfer of machinery parts

27 April 2012 Dear Sir,
Stock transfer from Mumbai Machinery Parts like racks and its spares(Computer server racks) is it entry tax applicale or not in Karnataka. Please revert this question urgently.

27 April 2012 Mr Author,
Computer are not classified as machinery.It is an office equipment. So,its spares also are not liable for entry tax in Karnataka.
