05 March 2013 What is Entry Tax, please give detail concept of Entry Tax. our company plans to export our product. whether entry tax is liable for us for purchase of raw materials for production of export material from out side of state.

07 March 2013 Entry tax is payable on causing entry of schedule goods within local area. However if the same are used for manufacture. You may be exempted.. please check with local entry tax act for the same before. As mentioned since you would be exporting the goods bought .. if exported as it where is basis.. you may claim re-export benefit and no need for payment of entry tax, please clarify for which state is the query pertain to..
