06 March 2014 U must start with opening balance while creating ledgers. After that U can start in normal way.

06 March 2014 suppose opening balance is 1 lakh then entry will bank or cash ac dr to capital.

06 March 2014 It depends on u. If u r starting with cash then it will b:-

Cash Dr 1L
To Capital 1L

& if Bank

Bank Dr 1L
To Capital 1L
