17 March 2013 I HAVE FORGOTTEN PASSWORD GIVEN FOR LOG IN TO EFILE THE RETURNS. I WAS TOLD TO EMAIL CERTAIN DETAILS TO validate@incometaxindia.gov.in.

WHEN I TYPE ABOVE ADDRESS IT GIVES ERROR AND SAYS windows cannot find above address.

WHAT CAN I DO TO EFILE RETURNS

17 March 2013 You need to give the correct address which exists according to the PAN database. The WHOLE data to be sent should match with PAN DATABASE. If still you dont get the password then you can call the helpline else you can also file return manually.
