Effects of direct entry scheme

12 March 2014 after introducing direct entry scheme all the degree students are joining article ship leading to a big problem for the students who cleared group1 or both groups of ipcc. sir did any one notice this problem?

13 March 2014 well I dont think there is too much of a problem as such since CA firms still prefer to hire IPCC cleared candidates for articleship

13 March 2014 no even CA firms are preferring to hire degree students naming them as graduates.

13 March 2014 well there may be some such firms using the scheme to charge clients more for allocating "graduate employees" for client work! but majority firms dont like to have articles who ask for leave for IPCC as well as CA finals

13 March 2014 then why this scheme was introduced? instead of searching articleship degree students are opting for dummy ,so many students are getting registered under CAs causing shortage in number of vacancies

13 March 2014 well ICAI has somehow made it a rule that every 2-3 years they bring in a new model of pursuing CA. on any given point of time there are 2-3 schemes of CA.

why they do it, nobody knows. may be they are playing a game of musical chair!
