Ecs of income tax refund

All Dear Members
I am efiling my ITR for A. Y. 2014-15 in which there is a refund of RS. 16794.00 when I am selecting payment through ECS bank account no. should be 11 digit but my account no. is only 10 digits which is of Central Bank of India. I have make ann conversation about this from bank but they are telling that in CBI threre are only 10 Digits of Bank Accont No. My question is that Am i include Zero before my account no. In that case will i able to get refund through ECS or not. Please help me

minimum account number requirement is 9 digits. Since your account has 10 digits, it should not be a problem.

If you do not have an 11-digit bank account number, then you have to request your refund via cheque.

Please note that the minimum requirement as per CBS system is 9 digits only. and from this year, there is no option for cheque refund. The option for the same has been removed.

Kaushik Sir is write there are no option to get refund in cheque from A. y. 2013-14 . In case of ECS software of Sag Infotech as well as provided excel utility version also demanding 11 digits in case of ECS. When I make an conversation in CPC Bengluru Executive was replying that there should be 11 digits account no. and he has suggested me to open an new account in any other Bank. What should I do ?

use Income-tax department return utilities. nine digits number is accepted.

In utilities when i am filing up account no. the message in said box is give 11 digit bank a/c no. in case of refund through ECS
