E sugam for Sale of Fabricated Transformer Tanks

Dear Sir,
We are manufacturer and we are selling the fabricated tanks to our customers in bangalore on transist we are issuing Excise Invoice and Delivery challan during transport of materials. Now the VAT offical is insisting us E sugam is must alongwith Excise Invoice and Delivery challan is it correct. Pl give your opinion.

what you are doing is correct.
E sugam is aaplicable only when the material sold out of the state or border for the specified product only it is applicable.
if your product made iron & steel transported out side state e sugam applicable.vide notification dated 25.01.2011 effective from 01.02.2011
