09 November 2011 Dear Friends,

i need help.

My Brother, submitted E return for FY 09-10 and FY 08-09. However, failed to send the signed copy to the Bangalore office in time. Hence, the same is rejected.

Now what is the solution. available.

10 November 2011 Shiva...Shiva.. It is required to be sent.
Logically, the income data and tax amount has reached to the department.

.
The worse will be the case, when you were supposed to be receiving any refund for these AYs.
.
However, in my view, in spite of the fact, the department says the return is invalid,
it does not return back the tax amount to the assessee.
.
It means it receives tax against invalid returns...?????
.
Since refund of tax amount has not been granted to any person, who has not sent the ITR-V in time, it means.... the Revenue is going to loose nothing.
.
Looking from various angles, it can be argued as a technical mistake and at any stage of proceedings, the assessee may be acquitted on the technical grounds.
