E-filling of financial statement along with itr & audit repo

Dear All
Can anybody tell me where it is written that assessee has to upload the scan copy of their financial statement??
I could not find such guideline from Income Tax Department
I think Assessee only have to e-file the return and Audit Report. i.e. Tax Audit Report & ITR-4/5/6/7 As applicable

Balance Sheet as well as profit and loss account are mandatory attachments to form 3CA and Form 3CB. Please read the wordings of the said forms. Therefore, financial statements has to be electronically filed. No more specific mention is required to this effect.
