E-filing of i.t.returns

22 October 2013 Most of my salary clients have earlier e-filed their returns through some other Consultant and do not have either e-flied ack (ITR-V)and do not know the requisite login password. Some do not remember where they have filed their previous returns. If I want to validate PAN/Password the necessary password will be sent to the registered mail address which eventually is to the person with whom they have filed the return whom i donot know. My problem is how to set their password and file the return.

Actually you should follow below steps to reset there password.
1) You should know your client Pan number.
2) You should create your client Duplicate mail ID as per there name.
3) Go to below link-
https://incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/e-Filing/UserLogin/LoginHome.html
4) Put your Client pan number in USD ID

And Click Resend Activation link
5) After then file necessary information in appropriate column
6) And see your client mail id password will be come on your Client mail id.
7) Click on mail & reset new password as you want
