Can anyone give me a brief description about Duty Entitlement Pass book Scheme????????

Duty Entitlement Pass Book Scheme (DEPB) is an export benefit scheme under Export and Import Policy (Foreign Trade Policy). After export of goods, credit of amount (DEPB rate) is given to the exporter on FOB value of goods under DEPB. This DEPB credit amount can be adjusted against the customs duty payable on raw materials imported for use in your export goods.
