If donation are not eligible for 80g deduction than can it be allowable as a normal business expense?

Donation is not any part of business expense. So not allowed.

Donation being an expense of personal nature is not an allowable business expenditure.

donations given for say Ganapati Festival, Diwali celebrations or similar events may be considered as business expenses. A temple was erected by the company in its premises. It was held that the same is necessary for keeping the morale intact of the employees and hence may be considered as business expenditure. Can you please tell the instance of your donations?

Donation was given by the co bcoz it was very difficult for the co to carry on normal business of co to various mandals.So co in that specific area is forced to give the donation.So such donations would be allowable under income tax act??

Dear Vatsal,
Donation is not an allowable expense. And given the circumstances explained by you I'd say even Amol Sir would agree with me that it won't be considered as a business allowable expense.
