31 December 2011 Can any one please tell me, what are the documents required for Vat registration of a company in WEST BENGAL

In WB for registration there are forms like 1,1A,1B,1C and 2 depending upon the nature of business you are starting. For companies the copies of documents furnished before ROC are also required.Rent agreement , memorandum of association,bank account copy,photographs of MD or all partners,or proprietor identification documents etc are required. It is done on line also.Fill the form on line, scan the documents and send via Commercial tax dept web site of WB.After a day or two go to the VAT office of your area pay the regn fee and give necessary clarification to them and proceed.
