29 January 2013 Documents required-for sale and purchase of agriculture land. Additional proof from land records may also be kept in record known as 7/12 (Gujarat). Receipts showing payment details, Bank Pass Book and any consequential record which you feel important to show the genuineness of transactions.

29 January 2013 thank you sir.can you please tell me that if urban land is purchased and used for agricultural purposes then any additional documents are redq???

29 January 2013 No additional proofs are required at this stage. Since the assessee remains the owner of the land , the required document can easily be produced.
