Dividend tax in mutual funds

Dividend received in the hand of investor is tax free. However for Debt Mutual Funds already tax is deducted by Mutual Funds Company. If the mutual funds are equity oriented then these are totally tax free in the hands of investor as well as in the hand of mutual fund company
