Hello
A director has resigned from the company and filed Form DIR-11
However, the company is not filling DIR-12 (it is not operational since 2010)
So what is the remedy to disassociate director name from the company records

As per Sec.168(1) of company act read with rule 16
The resignation of a director shall take effect from the date on which the notice is received by the company or the date, if any, specified by the director in the notice, whichever is later.
When a director files eForm DIR-11 for intimating about his resignation before the company files eForm DIR-12, an email will be sent to the company for filing the eForm DIR-12 and the status of the Director in the company will be changed to ‘Resigned’ against the selected designation.
Company has to file DIR-12 for removal of name in signatories of company.,but resigned partner responsibilities will come to end with the company after filing form DIR11
