A Pvt. Ltd. has filed DIR-12 for the resignation of director. Its been more than 6 months but the director
has not filed DIR-11 for the same. What are the consequences of non filing of DIR-11?

Section 168 of the CA 2013 states Director SHALL also forward a copy of his resignation along with detailed reason to the ROC within 30 days.
Since "SHALL" word has been used in this context it is mandatory for the director to file DIR 11.
Section 168 does not specifies any penalty for the violation the section. Even Rule is also silent about this.
