17 October 2014 Please advise procedure to surrender DIN in case of death of DIN holder. He has been removed from directorship of company on his death and does not hold any more office.

17 October 2014 please apply for cancellation of DIN under Rule 11 of the Companies (Allotment and Qualification of Directors) Rules 2014. Make application to concerned Regional Director of ROC.

18 October 2014 File Form GNL-2 with attachment as DIR- 5 & Documentary proof i.e death certificate.

This e-form can be signed by any director of the company in which such deceased person was a director
