12 August 2009 I am not sure whether this is the right place for getting the feedback on this issue.

1. I would like to know various possible issues that one faces in the following.
What is the procedure for getting a DIN allocated.
What if the person is a foreigner.
What if the person is illiterate (angutta chaap)
What is the person is from South India where there is no Surname concept.

2. Is it possible for a Minor to become Director of a company?

2. A minor cann't be a director since he/she has no contractual capacity under Indian Contract Act.
