22 September 2010 I have taken digital signature for one of the directors for pvt ltd company....i am trying to register the same for company it filing....but the system is showing unknown error....the ceritifcate is of the director....do i have to take seperate certificate for company?

22 September 2010 You can't take a DSC in company's name. It can be only in the name of an individual. What is the wordings of the error message appearing?. Pl inform that, so that member's can respond on that basis.

22 September 2010 there can be one reason: now if it is your first return which is being filled with digital signature then make sure it is PAN based DSC. Because from this year you can e file return with only PAN based DSC (if it is first year or first return with DSC).
The persons who have filled return with DSC last year they can file return with previous DSC.
