What is the exact difference between Section & Clause of the act. Plz solve my query...

Section is tha main part of the Act.
A clause is a sub-part of the Section.

section is big and clause is its part.
if we take example of sec 227 and then all other no is this like 1 2 is its clause. and if in clause also there is no like i ii then it is sub clause
