Hi All tell me the difference between net profit and consolidated net profit

Net Profit is the profit as per Stand Alone Balance Sheet of the company while consolidated Net Profit means the net Profit as per consolidated Profit and Loss A/c by taking into a/c the NP of susidiaries and associates in accordance with AS21.
